Rat Scent Sports

Explore your dog's instinctual scenting abilities in an engaging rat scent class. Your dog will learn to search for the specific scent of a live rat to indicate the location of the rat to you. This type of dog sport is done as a team effort between you and your dog. These scenting class provides mental stimulation in addition to biological fulfillment in your canine companion.

Available classes are geared towards the two most popular Rat Scent Sports currently:

- Searching for rats in plastic tubes around hay bales,

- Searching for rats in boxes around an urban man-made environment with the addition of following a rat scent track along the ground in a natural rural environment.

To be very clear, there are *NO RATS HARMED IN THESE SPORTS* with the safety of the rats as a top priority. These rats are extremely loved pets that enjoy the enrichment and stimulation of coming out to work with the dogs.
